-
Include informative inserts in your church bulletin!
-
Print fliers to hang in and around your facilities!

IRS Guidelines on how your church or non-profit can help the campaign:
Many churches and non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations have questions regarding how much they can do to promote the Parental Notification Initiative without endangering their tax exempt status.
As long as a church or non-profit organization does not devote a substantial amount of their total resources (e.g. time, personnel, money and property) to support specific initiatives, propositions or legislation, they are not in danger of losing their non-profit 501(c)(3) status. In one case, the IRS concluded that a substantial amount meant 5% or more of total resources. Generally, bulletin inserts, making announcements from the pulpit, allowing signatures to be gathered on your facilities, etc., would not be considered a substantial amount of an organization’s resources.
